Tyler Powers

Partner, Director of Taxation Services Tyler graduated from Western University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies, Specialization in Finance and Administration. He received a Western Scholarship of Distinction and graduated on the Dean’s Honour list as a result of exemplary academic achievement. Tyler received his CPA designation in 2017. 
 Tyler completed a 16-month internship with the Canada Revenue Agency during his time at University. His time spent working with the CRA has provided strong insight into the Canadian Income Tax Act and Canada Revenue Agency processes. Tyler is currently enrolled in his final year of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program. As a senior manager, Tyler provides advice and solutions to individuals, professionals, entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses to ensure their tax, succession and estate planning needs are met. Outside of Public Accounting, Tyler is heavily involved in the community as the past – Chief Financial Officer for the Peterborough PC Association, a current board member with the YES Shelter, delivering Christmas hampers for the Salvation Army and as a Cabinet Member on the United Way of Peterborough’s 2016 and 2017 Campaigns.
